Hi,
Please help....
Install ruTorrent on Debian 5.04 or Ubuntu 9.10 - This is OK.
rTorrent - 0.8.6 + lib..0.12.6, Apache2..Xmlrpc-c is subversion, ruTorrent 3.0

Install rutorrent on FreeBSD.8.Relase i have a problem.
rTorrent - 0.8.5 + lib..0.12.5..ruTorrent 3.0
I use this guide:

The first run and it works, but refresh the web browser and the message:

[04.03.2010 20:47:45] Bad link to rTorrent. Check if it is really running. Check $scgi_port and $scgi_host settings in config.php and scgi_port in rTorrent configuration file.

Any Idea?

it's interesting, i ran into a problem with a freebsd user who was using ppp for thier connnection.


it should work fine on FreeBSD, i have it installed on several freebsd 8.0 systems

post your .rtorrent.rc your config.conf from rutorrent and your webserver config.

peshu, i think it is. I saw this exact same behavior on miha's machine yesterday. It's very odd...i've installed rutorrent + rtorrent on 50+ FreeBSD boxes and never have a problem. It was very strange. First connect would work, then after that it would do exactly like he's saying. I couldn't find the problem, but when i set up a fresh install here i couldnt' reproduce it. This led me to believe it was due to his ppp setup.

I couldn't test without his ppp because that was how i was connecting. The question becomes, how is vinklerkx connecting....

very odd...is it amd64 or i386

i always use amd64 and come to think of it, yesterday his box was i386 too ...i wonder if there is a bug with 32 bit...

i just set up another vm in virtualbox the exact same and it worked with amd64.

i honestly don't know what to tell you. I have it installed across several freebsd machines and it works fine.
