I am having a bit of trouble from ruTorrent and have scoured Google to no avail. I have a home webserver running Arch Linux with Apache, PHP5, and MySQL. I have rtorrent installed and configured with XMLRPC. It is also set to startup automatically when the server boots (with screen, it starts as my local user, not root). I have ruTorrent residing in a subfolder in my web root (which is moved into my personal folder, e.g. /home/username/public_html/rutorrent). When I bring it up I get the message "Bad response from server: (500 [error,list])". What is stumping me though, is that I can add torrents and they add just fine, but none are ever listed in ruTorrent, I have to use the terminal to see them. Also, ruTorrent does not save any of the settings I change in it.
