Can't change session directory in Advanced settings

When I try to change the session directory in the advanced settings I get an error message (see attached screenshot). Any ideas?

1) Check file /tmp/errors.log and paste it contents here, if it exist.
2) Which plugins are installed?

Hello and thanks for the help. I installed ruTorrent on my Synology via this method: http://forum.synology.com/wiki/index.php/RTorrent_ruTorrent_HowTo
and I am not exactly sure what plugins I have installed. If you explain to me how to find out I will be able to answer you more effectively.

Read /tmp/errors.log. You can't change session directory while it is enabled. You must disable it first.
