RSS Manager Autostart

Hi,

I'm using the latest version of rutorrent, I would like to know if anybody else has an issue with the autostart torrent feature. When RSS manager matches with a torrent, it says loaded, and then stopped. I need to manually start torrent. Even though I have not clicked the box where it says, Don't autostart torrent.
Why is this? Oh, and I have match always as time period.

nope, sounds like you've got something set up wrong. Rss auto-start works fine.


you may need to up the refresh rate., the default is 30 minutes.

check rutorrent/plugins/rss/conf.php

Allright,
Well I changed it to 1 min, but it still says Loading, then Stopped. That's it.
Is there something else I need to change?

A long shot but possible is , the path you have specified for autostarting using the RSS manager, is it the same as any watch paths you have in your rtorrent.rc file for rtorrent, IF you have any?

No, the paths in the RSS manager are different from the watch folder. I am not using the watch folder in rtorrent.rc file, but I have not commented it out. Do you mean I set the paths in the manager to the watch folder?
Or should I comment it out, and it'll work?

no, you shouldn't need to specify a watch directory for rss to work.

I would like to add, that I'm using rtorrent++ with rutorrent 3.10 in a QNAP x86 NAS, so the OS is specific and may not have a standard set of features. I did however, install php yesterday. This was missing earlier, and I thought it might have had something to do with it.
What else is there, which might be necessary.

then you need to update to standard rtorrent/rutorrent
