Hello,

I have a virtual server that came preconfigured with ruTorrent v3.5 (svn ...) and rTorrent 0.8.9/0.12.9. I encounter an issue where whenever I save settings in ruTorrent, they are not maintained. For example, I have changed the general settings numerous times to decrease the time to update the GUI and the date format, but every time I go to ruTorrent, the settings are at their default values. And yes, I am clicking "OK." However, I did modify some settings under Downloads and they are maintained, although I don't know if they were actually applied. Also, I was able to change the ruTorrent theme fine. Could somebody please give me some guidelines on how to resolve or at least diagnose the issue? Also, the memory usage bar in the bottom shows 100% sometimes even though it's not using 100%, why is this? Thanks!

Update: The show UI effects and update gui time seems to be working but we'll see for how long before it reverts to default again

Directory rutorrent/share must be accessible for web-server user for read/write.
However, I did modify some settings under Downloads and they are maintained, although I don't know if they were actually applied.
And all these settings will be restored after the rtorrent restart. Use correction of rtorrent.rc file for permanent changes.

Original ruTorrent interface hasn't any sort of memory usage bar.

Thank you for this information. In ruTorrent, what does this part indicate? Is this part of the original interface? See attachment.
