Hi,

I'm new user with rtorrent and rutorrent.

I just start my seedbox on Kimsufi 2G. It works well when I have some torrents. However, when I had more than 20 torrents for seeding and about 4 downloading torrents. It occurs the error "Storage error: [File chunk write error: Cannot allocate memory.]".

I found some articles which said I must edit my rtorrent.rc. But I don't know where is the file. I couldn't find the file on /home/<rutorrent_user> and /var/rutorrent/rutorrent/conf/users/<rutorrent_user>. I'm using multi-user rutorrent.

What is the best setting for my server to fix the problem? Kimsufi 2G, Celeron 1,2Ghz, 2G RAM, 1TB HDD.

Many thanks,

its usually under your /home/<username>/.rtorrent.rc

worse comes to worse, you can do a find / -name .rtorrent.rc

This message occurre when all your RAM is used. It's happened when you have a few torrent with high speed up/down load.
