Ubuntu + Multiuser + extra users

hi all

i set my rutorrent up a while back using the ubuntu + multiuser when i installed this i setup 7 users...

its now time for me to add a few more users can someone advise as when i add the other users it wont allow me to login i just get 401 - Unauthorized

if you are using apache's htdigest you will have to add users to that.
