Weirdest issue: All unites replaced by bytes.

Hi all,

I've been having the weirdest issue in rutorrent lately: All units of measurement (Gigabytes, Megabytes, ...) have incorrectly been replaced by just "bytes". E.g. a torrent that is 3.5 gigabytes big is incorrectly claimed to be 3.5 bytes - yes, 3.5 bytes, not 3500000000 or 3758096384 bytes. It just says 3.5 bytes.

Same thing for all sizes in the torrent details, current up-/download speeds as well as speed limits, etc. - Everything.

I cannot remember touching anything in the rutorrent or rtorrent configurations (or anything at all on that box), and I've tried upgrading from 3.1 to 3.4, but the problem still persists. It's also limited to rutorrent I think, in rtorrent itself the sizes are displayed correctly.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

Cheers,

Hi shwetha,

many thanks for the advice - I can't believe it didn't occur to me that the issue was browser-side!

Anyways, the issue was limited to Safari, and everything worked fine in Firefox. Clearing Cache and resetting a bunch of other settings in Safari didn't change anything, but installing the latest update (5.1.5) solved the problem, in case anyone else runs into the problem.

Cheers,
