Hi

I have a QNAP TS-219P and have installed ruTorrent v2.8 (as the BT client on the QNAP is woefully bad). I can access it using FireFox no problem, but if I use IE8, I just keep getting the Loading screen and an error sign in the status bar. Any idea what could be causing the problem? I get this from several different PCs running either XP or Windows 7 and IE8. I haven't made any changes to config files or anything else. It was just a standard install. The message reads as follows:

please don't use 2.8.

2.8 is outdated, slower and unsupported.

If you DO choose to use 2.8 don't report bugs or expect help with it. Your welcome to make any changes to it you like but if you're going to ask for help with compatibility at the very least, try the current version.
