Hi all,
I just upgraded to rutorrent 3.3 plus all 3.3 plugins as well.
I can't remember from 3.2, did the RSS plugin used to store all the old RSS items? E.g. say I have an RSS feed that only ever shows 10 items. Rutorrent will only ever show 10 items. Even in 2 days time when those 10 items are all different, still it just show the current 10 that are in the feed.
If you add an rss feed to google reader for example, over time, you can always go back and see what was in the feed, last week, last month etc.
I would like this feature in rutorrent. As this stupid private tracker i have, their rss only show 10 items. Leave it overnight, come back check in morning and see 10 new items, who knows how many items i did not see there that have already rolled off the end.
If I have autodownload setup, it will be fine, they will still get picked up. But I am more worried about spotting new stuff that I do not know I want yet. If I never see it, I will never know I want it.
As stated, I can not remember if this is changed since 3.2 or not, as this crazy 10 item feed I have only just added since updating. Previously I was just using feed from ezrss.it which had 30 items and didn't see this problem, but that feed is very unstable. If this is feature request, would be happy to put a bounty on it if someone tell me how, or if it worth it / too hard to do.
regards,
tigris
