Which OS are you using? Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, etc... Are you sure your web server's user name and group is www-data? Are you using SELinux?

I am also on ArchLinux (albeit using x86, not x86-64). I have used lighttpd from the repository, and had the problem with both the AUR rutorrent package and when I downloaded and installed it myself. It's nothing to do with javascript being disabled in the browser.

As a further note, it seems to work perfectly with internet explorer!

I have set the path in config.php for both stat and curl. /tmp has 777 permissions. I assume that is all that is required. Webserver and rtorrent users both seem to be able to use it.

Unfortunately, that is not the case. It also happens on every 'load', not just the first.

I would just like to add that I have tried adding the rss plugin and it comes up with a similar error except it involves curl instead of stat. I have looked up posts about this subject on these forums but most of the time users seem to not have curl (or stat) installed (which I definitely do)
