    it's interesting, i ran into a problem with a freebsd user who was using ppp for thier connnection. it should work fine on FreeBSD, i have it installed on several freebsd 8.0 systems post your .rtorrent.rc your config.conf from rutorrent and your webserver config.

    Not sure what went wrong, but it did.

    number of issues with new install

    Thanks for the suggestions wonslung but it those steps weren't necessary. I am not sure how I did it but I got rutorrent working. I even reset the system and install everything from scratch to make sure.
