I have installed rtorrent 0.8.5 and the 0.12.5 libtorrent and the newest ruTorrent with SVN + the rss plugin also with SVN But i can't use the http authentication for an rss feed... when i try the same url in utorrent - it's working perfectly...

yes. I do this often. just string them together and make sure both boxes are checked. for instance, i've got some for a site like this: /Lost.S0[4-9]E.*720p.*Category.TV-x264.*/i and it works fine.

if you want to use a watch folder, then you don't need the rss plugin. you need something like this: http://code.google.com/p/rssdler/ the rss plugin makes it a lot easier but if you know what you're doing, you can do much more automation with the scripted options.

feed is the F*N feed...curl is correctly setupped in config.php ... what other things should I be look for? Things are the same even if i install curl from apt or thru sources with ssl support.
