Well most things are pretty easy to do.
But the main question is :
Is your PC powerfull enough to run as server & also as your main desktop PC.
Or will you only use it as a server ?
Update for everyone rtorrent has been fixed to stop this error on svn build 1168 they are now up to build 1170 (3 months ago)

by default it is set to update every 30 minutes.
also, it doesn't start this cycle unless you've at least done it once, which is why it's so important to add the init option to rtorrent.

I installed the server freshly with 3.1 since being on lighttpd. Didn't have this problem back on this webserver (switched due to consistent memory leaking) Now on Nginx. I also restarted the webserver and rtorrent multiple times.

It happens with any torrent I try.
I have chmodded all my dirs to 777, (.session, rtorrent, and all dirs that rtorrent downloads to)
Log just says 'torrent was sucessfully passed to rTorrent'.
I read a thread with someone having a similiar issue but I cannot for the life of me find it again...
As i already told to you, this is a not catch-all for "torrents *not* uploaded via the WebUI". This is a catch-all for *all* new torrents. You must use set_custom/get_custom/branch technique for separate one from another.
