    Enable tracker_dump?

ahh, well that is more of an rtorrent issue than a rutorrent issue.

    Apache Asking for HTPassword Twice

because rutorrent uses one for one thing and one for something else. It uses one for adding torrents and sending commands directly to rtorrent, and uses the other for reporting. Originally, before 3.0, these 2 settings were even in different config files (there was a config.js and a config.php)

    Apache Asking for HTPassword Twice

you could put the RPC mount inside the rutorrent dir, that way it should be secured by the same password

Force ratio group on new torrents?

Hi, I am trying to set it up so that all torrents added are automatically removed from rtorrent after they reach a ratio of 2 (limited bandwidth). However, I can assign a ration to torrents already added, but I have it set up to auto-add torrents, so I don't always catch them. Is there a way...

Passed to rtorrent - but it wasn't?

there ARE torrents which rtorrent won't accept which work fine with a client like utorrent (which will accept poorly made torrents, or torrents with bad data) If it's one of THESE there may be nothing yuou can do.

Passed to rtorrent - but it wasn't?

just open both torrents with for example MakeTorrent2 , and have a look if the hashes are the same

Passed to rtorrent - but it wasn't?

well what novik was saying is that if you have 2 torrents with the same hash, rtorrent will only load one of them.

How can I only allow say 10 concurrent torrents?

Thanks for that Novik, Will test when I have another go at the latest builds of rtorrent/libtorrent which just failed to work for me, so I went back to x.x.6 which still works fine with ruT3.2 When I tried to connect to rtorrent via ruTorrent 3.2, rtorrent crashed. The screen log reports...

yah, you can also limit file descriptors. rtorrent is amazing.

How can I only allow say 10 concurrent torrents?

netstat, when used in that way, shows much more than active, open connections.

How can I only allow say 10 concurrent torrents?

that netstat isn't only showing rtorrent. Looking at your screenshot, i would imagine it's correct. it's only showing 11 active torrents. 100 connects between 11 active sounds about right to me

How can I only allow say 10 concurrent torrents?

woah, that's weird. my reply was : It most certainly does work, i see this a lot...people either have a misunderstanding of how the settings work, or they have a misunderstanding of the results....either way, the .rtorrent.rc settings work perfectly.

How can I only allow say 10 concurrent torrents?

When you change the speed limit, rtorrent will calculate how many slots it can use. I am not sure how the rutorrent setting translates to rtorrent. Anyhow the rtorrent settings for throttles are:

How can I only allow say 10 concurrent torrents?

I am with you wonslung. rtorrent gives the best performance by length. Just had a little laugh at you first reply to me. My question on "server" and config were meant to be for the OP and his stuff to see the settings and if i could identify a possible problem or to give an educated guess...

What "server" do you have? Can you provide all peer/connection/memory settings from your .rtorrent.rc?
