AutoTools won't work with rutorrent 3.1

Hi can anyone help me get autotools working with rutorrent 3.1?

Here is my setup

Example:
home/lestat1977uk/download/Tvshows/dexter/season 1

Finished Directory:
home/lestat1977uk/completed/Tvshows/dexter/season 1

Setup in rutorrent/Autotools

Autolabel Enabled
Automove Enabled

Path to finished downloads
/home/lestat1977uk/Completed/


as far as i can see everything looks right but nothing gets labeled or moved?

Any help would be really appreciated.

remember it's begin to work for new finished download. If you have already some torrent wich are finished it will not work for them.

check the config.php for rutorrent and the conf.php for autotools


also, a lesser known fact: autotools will fail with relative home paths set in .rtorrent.rc so this:


~/download/

will fail where this:

/home/duder/download

will not.

and tell me what it is set at.


also, i've seen this bug when people set the php binary to php-cgi by mistake (it should only be the cli version)

The last 2 lines shouldn't exist....but anyways, no, your php.ini file, not your rutorrent configs.

well that's just it. It depends very much on which distro of linux or unix you use.

for instance, php.ini on FreeBSD is at /usr/local/etc/php.ini

php.ini on OpenSolaris is at /etc/php/5.2/php.ini

php.ini on debian is at /etc/php5/apache2/php.ini /etc/php5/cli/php.ini AND/etc/php5/cgi/php.ini

theres tons of places for it to be, and how it's configured is different for each system. It's a pretty complicated file. You can do some pretty crazy shit with it.

ALSO, another thing which can cause failures in automove is the path set in .rtorrent.rc

autotools doesn't like relative paths

ok so the path isnt relative so it isnt that.

as for the php.ini is it possible i dont have access to it? i've sftp into my seedbox and that file is in none of the directories.

im running 3.1 runtorrent on a feral hosting power slot.

is it possible i cant access that file?

Also trying to get the autounpack working but having no luck there either, saw your excellent guide but it wont work for me... auto never seems to start and manual says finished with errors...

Did you do the install of all software ?

Or as you have a slot did feral do it ?
F feral did .. then you should ask them to solve this issue
As normally you do not have axx to all config files

you need to get your hosting comany on this if they are the ones who handled the installs
