Hi All,
First time poster here. I've been searching the forums/web for a couple days and can't find a definitive answer. My rutorrent has been working fine for months. A couple days ago, I deleted a large file, and added a bunch of torrent files. Immediately after doing this, I started to receive the bad response from server (error, list) error. I was able to restart rutorrent and still experienced the error.

After doing some reading, I found that adding a couple plugins (httprpc, rpc) solved this problem for users. I looked at my plugin list and found that both of these were enabled. I did some testing and to make a long story short, my list of torrents showed up immediately after disabling httprpc). I was hoping someone can fill me in on why this occurred, and how to fix it so I can use this plugin again. Would it require reinstalling the plugin? Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks in advance.

rpc and httprpc are performing the same task via different methods.
use one or the other, not both

Thanks for your reply. I tried disabling rpx then enabling httprpc and received the same 500 error. I currently have httprpc disabled, but it sounds like that is the better of the two? Would removing/re-enabling the plugin not help?
