I just finished this entire tutorial http://filesharefreak.com/2010/02/13/how-to-install-rtorrent-rutorrent-using-socket-ssl-authentication-on-ubuntu-or-debian/. I'm using debian and have lighttp as the webserver and everything works fine except when I install the data plugin to download file through http the get data option isn't in the left click menu. It says the plugin is loaded under the plugin tab but it doesn't seem to be working. Any help would be extremely appreciated smiley.gif my rutorrent folder is all 777'd and my torrent data folder under /home/rtor/torrents is 777'd also

Wow, run on sentence much?

try to use punctuation, it really helps people to understand you.

make sure you aren't using svn plugins with a non-svn install or vice versa.

Make sure you haven't disabled the plugin from changing the menu. Check your rutorrent/conf/access.ini and your user's access.ini (if you override the main access.ini).

Also the tutorial you're referring to even says in red text that the guide is old, and that you should be using Subsy's guide. wink.gif

I wasn't suggesting you use the svn plugin exactly, i was suggesting that you only use the svn plugin if you have the svn base install

Is there anyway however of doing this for multiple files?

I knew about it being a "Right-Click Option" under the Files Tab for one file at a time, but it would be great if you could right click the Torrent itself and have an option to download all the files contained in the torrent.

It would obviously need a file container of some sort though, maybe a .zip?

Would that be even remotely possible?

Just thinking out loud here,

The Capt.

unfortunately this isn't available. This is why so many people have pledged money for the explorer bounty.

So far, though, noone has developed it.
