jabber plugin or script

hey guys im wondering if a jabber plugin or script could be possible? So for jabber to send an instant message when a torrent hits 100%, or possibly other functions aswell. Does anyone know if this is possible, and how hard it would be to accomplish?

Use something like sendxmpp on event.download.finished in your rtorrent.rc
Should find a few examples here http://www.howtoforge.com/send-instant-messages-notifies-by-xmpp-jabber-google-talk-from-linux-command-linejust put them into a script your going to run with $d.get_custom2= ;execute=/path/to/your/script.sh
