Since I updated, I have noticed another plugin "loginmgr". Judging from the version its been around for a bit...lol . I have scoured the forums for some info on it. I am presuming it stores login details etc etc so you can login from rut, but thats a guess . It would be good if someone can give a "demo" how to implement it properly.

For some sities you can't use plugin Cookies, because this sities use another auth method (or change cookies set very often). Plugin loginMgr is intended for work with such sities. At this moment plugin loginMgr realize auth scheme for 2 sities - ruTorrent.org and hd-dream.net. If you don't use these sities - you don't need this plugin.

it's mainly intended to be used with the extsearch plugin from what i understand.

No. For example, it will works for RSS too. This is a analog of plugin 'Cookies'.
