Hi there,
After a while using ruTorrent, my server crashes, and does not answer ping anymore (so SSH, FTP, Apache and everything is down). I have to reboot my server so that it works back again, until it crashes again. Logs in /var/log/* does not indicate anything special. The issue appears especially when I upload a .torrent file to my server (but not everytime), but I can't know if the issue comes from ruTorrent, rTorrent, Apache or something else. I reinstalled ruTorrent, rTorrent and Apache, but I had no results sad.gif .

The same config worked well with my previous server (which was less powerful). But I'm maybe using too much slots ?

My distrib is Debian 7.

Thank you for your help smiley.gif . Do not hesitate if you need another detail.

Thanks for answer. I didn't checked that, but I'm trying to change my distro to Ubuntu Server 12.04 (LTS) in order to see if it's more stable. If the issue appens again, I'll do that and if I don't understand, I will post it here smiley.gif .

Thank you agian !

Ubuntu 12.04 LTS didn't solved the issue.

My kern.log does not indicate anything special : http://pastebin.com/pFCi4d0w (issue happened around 16:08 (just before I had to reboot my server)).

HDD, RAM... tests did not reveal anything.

Should I try with 32bits edition of Debian (or Ubuntu) ? I'm pretty sure it's a kernel panic (nothing is logged after freeze happens, even simple text with cron task).

Thank you !
