torrent size limit

It looks like there is a torrent size limit - probably 1MB? Torrents that are larger than 1MB don't pass to rtorrent from rutorrent.

is this a fact? If yes, are there any plans to change this?

If your use a last version of ruTorrent (3.1) - attach this file here, or paste link to it. Otherwise upgrade your version.

It also helps to raise the limit in php.ini

yes, i'd check your limits in php.ini. They can be a limiting factor.

I have exactly the same problem, I can not add torrents bigger than 1.6M, and I already try editing the php settings in the php.ini and through the .htaccess.

Hi l up This thread because other people have This problem and can't find why... I check php.ini and increase upload limit but it don't fix the problem.

Try to check last revision on svn. For large .torrent files php timeout may be reached during its adding. I fix this now.

hi, thanks to take time to see this. I tried and I still have this problem. I don't think it's a php error because it's doesn't work with watchdir too. . .

im also having this issue. Won't pass through rutorrent or the watch directory.

How big is your torrent file? Does your watch dir work with smaller torrents? Upload the torrent somewhere, or show a link to a big public torrent that's not loading from your watch dir.

If the torrent isn't loaded from your watch dir, then it's probably corrupted. Check your rtorrent log (press l (lower case L) in rtorrent).
