Make sure you haven't disabled the plugin from changing the menu. Check your rutorrent/conf/access.ini and your user's access.ini (if you override the main access.ini). Also the tutorial you're referring to even says in red text that the guide is old, and that you should be using Subsy's guide.

Ok I did the svn thingy as root and it worked. Unpacking is now working but rtorrent hangs when autounpack is running. The rutorrent log comes up with a timeout. When unpacking is finished everything is back to normal. Should it do this?

it's not a good idea to use mismatched versions. Are you sure you didn't have a mismatached version as it was? you should have used svn for everything. It sounds like you used svn for just rutorrent and then downloaded the 3.2 plugin from the website, this wouldnt' work correctly

also, remember to set rtorrent to run initplugins.php at startup so you always have rss going. Basically, the rss plugin doesn't start it's magic until you visit the webui at least once, but if you do what i'm suggesting it will simulate that. it would be something like this in your...

I updated from svn for rutorrent and the plugins as described in another post. put in my login stuff in the loginMgr, cookies is totally clear. When i search the load url i get has wonslung's account tied to it. seems like a large issue....? anyway looking for help.
